Flyball started in California in the late 60's/early 70's.  Four dogs, four handlers, one box loader.  Today, flyball teams consist of multiple dogs and handlers.  Handlers are individuals or whole families; young, old and somewhere in between.  Flyball is one of the fastest growing dog sports.  The dogs that play flyball are pets gone wild; some have extreme drive and some play just for fun.

Catchers on the Fly (COTF) was one of the first flyball teams in Southern California.  With great pride, COTF has been a starting place for many handlers and dogs.  COTF is focusing on conditioning, proper training, weekly practice and the safety of our dogs.  Our goal is to run every dog,and compete in distant and local tournaments. and have a great time doing all of this!
